New Paint For The Craft Room

I decided to paint my craft room with Hubby's help of course. He does not like yellow, but he said it was my room and I could have it any color I wanted. This room was our Son's before he got married and than changed it into a guest room.

We than decided to change it into a guest and craft room for me. Now, with not many people staying overnight we changed it into my craft room a couple of years ago. It was a baby blue color, but I wanted a change and yellow is so cheerful and that is why I decided on that color.

I am trying to get all my painting done before the cold weather comes and if it does. We have been having a very hot fall with temps in the 90's which is not normal for WV.  I have a lot to paint.

Here is what we have done so far.

Now I plan on painting some furniture for the room.  Cannot wait til it is all done.

  3. Lovely!!!!! I know I prefer this, to blue!!! So, so pretty a color!

Hope you get all your painting done, and can spend winter, happily "cocooned" in your lovely new craft room. Doing all the things you love to do, in there.

What a way to actually look forward to winter! Wise of you!

  9. It's a very cheerful yellow. I have painting to do here to, but it may have to wait until spring. 2 surgeries and radiation treatments have put a damper on all my fall plans. But it really puts me in the mood to see everyone's accomplishments in the blog world. So I will just keep taking notes until I am back at it. Enjoy the weekend. Kris

    1. I am so sorry to hear about the surgeries and hope all is going well. One thing I like about blogs is getting ideas and using them later. I only have a little time left to do the painting. Cold weather will be coming soon and than all painting will have to wait til spring.

  12. Betty, I love the color! It's a soft yellow, similar to what I painted my living room. I have lots of things I want to get painted before winter. We just got new wood flooring in 4 rooms. I am wanting to repaint my kitchen table and chairs. Hoping the weather holds out!
    hugs,
